![]() ![]() For example, when spiderman fights a manga character and a rigged little devil smiles in the dark. ![]() I guess I should have given more detail about two of the other great places to get free, rigged, Unity compatible character models. Especially when it comes to 3D fantasy heroines and heroes in motion graphics, gaming and animation. I've had that issue with several 3D model formats, I can assign the textures myself, but some models have too many materials with missing textures and I have to guess which texture belongs to which material. I have found that my embedded textures are not being assigned properly (but the materials are fine) and I have to assign them myself. To the person who mentioned missing materials: I've seen the issue about FBX's and other models lacking textures/materials mentioned by Unity staff, so they're aware of it. AccuRIG is a free application designed for fast and easy character rigging, aiming to reduce production effort for character artists by focusing on model. Also, I forgot to mention, Autodesk also has a character generator (it will rig it automatically) and I think it even includes a mesh-morpher to blend two characters. There's other software to rig a character but those are two good free ways. So, just to clarify, you can take any 3D model of a character (*.OBJ for example) and use 's auto-rigger or Blender3D's Rigify to add a skeleton(avatar) compatible with Unity.
